Bonnie Hale is a native of Southern California, where she grew up roaming the orange groves and falling in love with the natural landscape.

After a (thankfully) short career in aerospace, Bonnie took up painting and never stopped. She started as a watercolorist but eventually had to get her hands into nearly every available medium: acrylics, oils, pastels, textiles, clay, ink, and others.

In 1995, Bonnie and her sister Heather Stevning started a business called
Blue Mud, where they taught yoga, meditation, drawing and painting for adults and children.

When Bonnie's husband John was promoted to a position in Dallas, the couple moved to Grapevine, Texas.  There, Bonnie began to apply her talents to the decorative arts. She quickly became a popular designer of specialty faux finishes and interior murals,  In addition to her many residential customers, Bonnie also worked with several real estate developers including Patrick Gray Homes and Newport Classic Homes.

Another promotion for John (such an overachiever!) recently brought the couple to St. Louis, where Bonnie will offer her skills and vision to help St. Louisans create rich and sophisticated interiors for their homes and businesses.
